RAPPER GUCCI MANE SENTENCED TO 468 DAYS IN FEDERAL PRISON

 Gucci Mane's album The State vs. Radric Davis just took on a very literal meaning (again). According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, the Brick Squad rapper (real name Radric Davis) was sentenced in Atlanta today to 468 days(39 MONTHS) in federal prison after pleading guilty to a firearms charge in May.

 In September 2013, the Spring Breakers guest star was arrested for threatening police in the Georgia capital, and when the officers performed a search, they found a Taurus 45-caliber handgun on his person with eight rounds of ammunition on hand. Because Gucci "Lemonade" Mane isn't really a stranger to these types of scenarios  he spent one full year spent in prison in 2005 for a later-dropped murder charge prosecutors recommended a three-year sentence for the offense.
Davis has already served 11 months, but he's still got more than two years left in jail. On the bright side this means Guwop probably won't have to sit through a possible Coldplay Super Bowl Halftime Show next year. And hey, his team is still releasing albums for him while he's locked up, so he needn't worry about disappearing from the public eye.

NICKI MINAJ SUED FOR $50,000 FOR BEING A DIVA

 An entertainment company is suing Nicki Minaj for being a diva, which sort of defies the point of Nicki Minaj, doesn’t it? It’s like suing Chris Martin for being bland, or Kim Kardashian’s ass for refusing to quit.
Anyway, according to PageSix, LA’s IMP Entertainment is suing the rapper for $50,000, after she turned up late to a personal appearance in 2011.
IMP claims that Nicki turned up 90 minutes late for her scheduled one-hour gig in February 2011, then left after performing just 30 minutes of her set.
The Manhattan Supreme Court suit claims Minaj agreed to host the NBA All-Star weekend event, but instead her brief appearance “defeated the entire purpose” of her being signed up to appear.
A spokesperson for Nicki Minaj has declined to comment, presumably because they are too busy sourcing Nicki a basketful of white doves for her to release over her breakfast, or filling a swimming pool with rich, rich Jersey milk for her to swim and bathe in.
