The founder of google, Larry Page who is also the current CEO has urged all Africans to take advantage of google's ads publishing program to make money as self employed persons.
Larry Page who co-founded google with  Sergey Brin in september,1998.Speaking to students of Singularity University which he co-founded,he said "many get out of school waiting for someone to employ them...well you can start something on your own.....my friends think,create,invent.."

Later turning to a black 21 year lady,he said " google adsense is a great way for most Africans who are unemployed to easily make money without stress.You can open a blog on blogger,create a youtube video and get it monetised...........i wonder why people complain about unemployment in Africa" he said.

Paypal,the largest internet payment company has extended its service offering to Ghanaians this week.In an exclusive interview by Reuters with Paypal's Head of Business Development sub-saharan Africa,Malvina Goldfield,He said "this should be good news to all Ghanaians".
Paypal in 2004 blacklisted Ghana,Nigeria,Senegal and other countries for abusing paypal services.
However in June,2014 paypal restored Nigerian status as one of the eligible countries to use paypal services.Nigeria is considered to be the second largest market place for paypal in Africa after South Africa considered to be the largest.
Ghana has been found to be the forth largest place after Kenya hence the extension of the service.
Although this service has been extended to Ghanaians the complexity to open and get it verified has been a difficulty.
Research conducted by this blog show that just a few merchants in Ghana have been able to open and verify paypal account in Ghana to its customers.
According to one merchant he claims,you can open paypal account with your real name,your ghanaian IP address and still withdraw funds in any ATM here in Ghana.
