A source tells THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER that the couple, set to reunite on the big screen in "By the Sea," will be hitched in the Universal drama. This story first appeared in the Aug. 1 issue of The Hollywood Reporter magazine.

It's a plot detail that will launch a thousand magazine covers: When Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie reunite for By the Sea, their first cinematic pairing since 2005's Mr. & Mrs. Smith, the famously unmarried duo will play a married couple. Universal, which bought worldwide rights to the drama that Jolie  wrote and will direct, is staying mum on details, but a source tells THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER that the pair, who will produce, will be hitched onscreen.
